I went through a screening interview, a secondary round, and a final round. In the latter two interviews, I picked up on the interviewers having a bit of an off-attitude due to me being under-qualified for the role--but they're the ones who supposedly liked my resume and selected me for interviews! Very confusing. After the final interview I got ghosted. I followed up a few weeks later to try to see what happened, and I did not get a reply after receiving a "I'll look into this and get back to you." Absurdly unprofessional after I spent a cumulative 3 hours interviewing. Even receiving a simple rejection email with no feedback would have been preferable. It's hard to know how much this reflects on the company as this was for a position in a relatively small department, but I had a pretty sub-par interview experience.
