I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Leoparda in Sept 2022
Interview
I was approached by a Lupa recruiter, looking for a senior front-end engineer for the founding team.
I had a first conversation with the CEO and founder, which was a conversation about my experiences, projects, and challenges. I received positive feedback and they were impressed with my profile.
The next step was a code-challenge to develop an application in React, solve a bug in the code and answer some technical questions. I got positive feedback on this and went to the last 2 steps which were conversations with the technical leads.
The conversations were great, and involved my experiences, projects, challenges, and technical questions about decisions and the use of libraries, or solutions to certain problems. After that, it was 2 weeks with no response. And who got back to me was the recruiter who contacted me initially, and just said that my profile was impressive but they decided to go with another candidate.
At least detailed feedback on why my profile wasn't picked would be nice, but I haven't received anything about it. And all this waiting time shows how the culture and organization of the company is and will be with candidates and potential employees.
