A brief screening interview lasted 20 of the 30 minutes allotted. Lots of questions around attendance, have you worked in a fast-paced environment, what do you like about having a P&C license (which was strange being this job was for health/life). When it came to my time to ask questions I was asked what specific questions did I have about the job posting not necessarily about the company and its culture. Something that struck me as odd was the fact training was only a week before you made outbound calls, so I asked how successful are agents in turning leads being training is only 1 week (not directly answered). Upon further questioning, I discovered that the role itself (transfer agent) only paid a base of $13 base + commission if you did get the client transferred to a licensed agent. After 60-90 off consistent attendance only then were you able to study for the licensing exam which pay them would be commission only. Needless to say, I knew this wouldn't be a good fit career-wise.
