I applied online and got invited to a phone interview the very next day.
The basic questions asked were fine, but there was a struggle on the opposite end when asking the more technical questions. How the questions were asked ranged from technically incoherent to simplistically broad.
There should have been better communication with the hiring team to get a more focused understanding of what the role entails.
After the questions, the call abruptly ended, despite there being a promise to answer the questions I had for the role. First red flag.
The second red flag was promising to hear back from them in a few days. It’s been two weeks and, despite my follow-up email, crickets.
The third red flag comes from connecting with ex-employees. Apparently, and allegedly, the culture at Leadhub is so mismanaged, disorganized, and rife with favoritism that the company frequently posts/reposts job openings every month in order to keep a roster of new hires. Employee retention is that bad.
I can honestly say that being ghosted might have been a blessing in disguise. Would not recommend.
