I recently went through the hiring pipeline with Lazer Technologies. While the initial rounds with the team were positive and the staff seemed capable, the final stages with executive leadership revealed a lack of organizational stability.
After we discussed the initial terms and expectations for the role, leadership unexpectedly shifted direction at the final hour and attempted to fundamentally alter the position. When I declined the altered role and held to our original discussion, the executive team completely stopped communicating and went entirely silent.
There appears to be a lack of internal consensus at the top regarding role structures and hiring needs. Because direction seems to change so quickly here without notice or follow-through, I would advise future candidates to proceed with caution.
Advice to Management: Ensure internal alignment on role requirements before extending offers.
