      Senior Javascript Developer Interview

      31 Mar 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Walnut Creek, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LawRoom (Walnut Creek, CA) in Jun 2013

      Interview

The hiring process for Lawroom was straight-forward. It started with a phone screen, where I was asked technical questions. The phone screen was very short - once they ascertained that I was not faking my knowledge, they immediately set up an in-person interview for a day or so later. That interview was held in their corporate offices in Walnut Creek, CA. They were very professional, easy-going and welcoming. I could tell they were really interested in filling the position and they were really hoping that I was the right person, which gave me some confidence.

      Question 1

I had prepared myself for the interview on so many low-level details that I was actually thrown by a really basic, high-level question: "have you used any design patterns lately?" I blanked.
