Well I was already working at this company. I applied for a more senior position that had become available in person. They (obviously) prefer to hire from the inside and bump them up. They showed a lot of interest and encouraged me to apply for this job asap. They then quickly took my form in and interviewed me for a few days and awarded me the position within the week.
