      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LanguageLine Solutions (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2015

      Interview

This was done through a staffing company called "Human Quality", based in Mexico. They call you, ask a few questions, then let you know you moved on to the next stage of the recruitment process. From here on out, the training is done by LLS. You undergo a telephone training (12 people and a trainer crammed into a phone call that lasts for 7 hours). If the instructor deems you worthy, you are given a test. If you pass that test, then they later inform you via e-mail that you need to complete an online training (which is terrible), and if you complete that, you can move on to the over-the-phone training session (which is another 12 people plus the trainer crammed into a single phone call which lasts for 7 hours). Then they make you get a phone line for this, and the telephone equipment. Once you've done all that, they make you sign a contract for 3 months (which includes signing your resignation letter and a letter stating they don't owe you any money), and THEN they tell you that if you make it through the three months, THEN they will reimburse you for the telephone line and equipment.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LanguageLine Solutions

      Interview

1.Recruiter will email the candidate first, then talk over the phone to see if the candidate might be capable to do the job. If the answer is yes, then schedule for a tester to call. 2. A short test for consecutive interpretation. Onced passed, then the orientation /training will begin. 3.Training is about 5 days(not too sure now), few hours each day during that period of time. And after all the paper work is completed and work schedule is ddecided, then the new interpreter can start working very soon.
