I applied through other source. I interviewed at Landmark Ltd (Roseville, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Got a call for an interview request even though I didn’t apply online prior. They saw my resume on indeed. Mel (the interviewer and CEO) gave me bad vibes. He was very blunt and bad with words. He stated how he hates doing these interviews and that they’re a waste of time. He said this literally to a person he’s interviewing. He said another thing like this that was a red flag to me but I honestly can’t even remember what it was. He asked me how much I’d like for a salary. I told him the standard. He said the standard is typically $15-18 an hour and asked me again what I’d like. I said okay, $16.65. The whole vibe changed. His smile went away and said the pay is $16. I said that was fine. He stayed in this serious state the rest of the interview instead of joking like he was at the beginning. I’ve heard women tend to be paid less in general in jobs because they don’t negotiate and just accept the minimum, which is why I went higher than I would’ve. (Although I do have two years of experience as an administrative assistant). Never heard back from them after the interview.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Landmark Ltd (Chennai) in Mar 2011
Interview
I did the interview in the middle of March 2011, I was interviewed about my previous employment profile and tasks which I did with my previous employer and so I started off well and then the momentum carried on and I was able to perform much better because what they asked was what I did so i was not feeling nervous and so i did it well. I was offered with an opportunity to handle SEM (PPC) even though I wasn't having experience in SEM. Then after a week time I was requested to present some research and analysis reports about the competitors as well as the employers current position which I did well too. I was informed somewhere in the middle of April 2011 that I have to pass the last hiring process in which I have to attend an interview with the company's CEO. I was quite nervous about the interview since i quit my previous job, but I noticed that having a little chat with the recruiter in the interview room before my interview with the CEO definitely calmed me down and somehow I did the interview well with the CEO at the end of first week in May 2011. I was informed in the middle of May 2011 that I had passed all the hiring committees and joined the team in June 2011.
