I applied online. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (Nottingham, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
I applied through the LSEG career site on Workday. The initial call was with the HR who was friendly, the team's call was routine hr questions about my background and my right to work in the UK, etc. Then I was moved to the next round, which was an online assessment in Codility, which I completed. I was selected for the technical round. This round was also a teams call with a Lead and Senior QA engineers. They made me feel comfortable and are easy to talk to. There were many technical questions in that one-hour call. I was able to answer about 75% of the questions. Which I felt was good enough. After that interview, they did not get back to me with any update whatsoever till today. In the Workday, the status is still showing "In Process". I emailed HR several times no reply at all. Don't know what they are waiting for, or have they already hired someone for the role? It's a simple update in the workday, "not selected" or "no longer under consideration". It's really frustrating.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (Bengaluru) in Jul 2024
Interview
I had 2 rounds of Interview,
1st was Technical and followed by Manager interview. Overall experience was very nice. The whole process was followed by HR discussion.
They ask questions on the background and technical knowledge.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (London, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
Applied for this role on LinkedIn. Approached by a nice recruiter from LSEG and I thought everyone at LSEG would be as nice as him, but I was wrong.
As a first round of interview, they setup a remote call couple of people from their QA team.
When I joined the call, no Hello no Hi, but, met with a very rude person saying bluntly on my face that "I am going to ask some questions, if you dont know, tell us that you dont know. Because, we will know anyway if you dont know the answers".
I was still under a bit of a shock to hear that statement, but I carried on answering his questions. I saw very weird expressions including rolling-eyes. After a point, I knew this interview doesnt go anywhere and I lost interest in even answering his questions.
It is very annoying and painful to know how people are still treated in 21st Century.
Even if they offered me a job then and there, I would not have accepted the offer.
Good luck LSEG to have such people on-board.
