The hiring process went through a recruiter, who was great. Very communicative. They were often waiting for a reply from the hiring manager (Dir. of Operations). Once I interviewed directly with him, things slowed down. It was as if he didn't have time for me or the process. It added weeks to the process and by the time I was on board, the projects I was to lead were too far along for me to have my say in the beginning stages. This haunted me for the two years the projects lasted.
