I applied online. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Hawthorne, CA)
Interview
Two interviews, first one waited like 30 min to interview, asked basic questions, liked me right away but I feel it was more related to my looks. Tested me on a sales script, which I got down in 5 minutes. Sent me on second interview at another la fitness that was far away, I waited over 40 minutes because the front desk girl NEVER told anyone I was there after she clearly said she would tell someone. Finally was interviewed and told about the job and pay structure, which was completely different than what I was actually paid. They both wanted me hired right away and I started working the next day.

Question 1
How do you feel about making 150+ phone calls a day.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Bloomington, IL) in Nov 2015
Interview
The manager was busy and had a new sales associate give me a tour and answer my questions. The manager could not even find my application at first.
I was shown the price list for membership and was told that my pay would be either minimum wage or commission depending on which was higher. There are also monthly bonuses available but the entire pay structure was unclear.
I asked about benefits and the manager was unsure what the benefits are but was told he's sure they offer it since with Obamacare it's now mandatory.
I was only asked one interview question and that was did I have experience working with the public.
The location was very busy and the manager kept being pulled away during the interview.
