      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at L2TMedia (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2016

      Interview

I received an email after applying for the Digital Media Associate position to schedule a phone interview. We scheduled it for a few days later. It started off as a pretty standard interview (questions about my experience, why I applied, etc.). After talking for a while about me, the conversation was shifted to the position, at which point she revealed that the position I applied for had been filled. She began discussing how she thought I could also be a good candidate for another position so I listened and thought it may be something I was interested in. We had a good conversation and agreed that this was a potential fit for me. Never heard back, not even an email to say they moved forward with someone else.

L2TMedia operates in a fast-paced environment that drives a similarly lightning-speed recruiting process to ensure we bring top-tier talent onboard soonest. It is our ongoing intent to provide all candidates with efficient feedback and next steps, but sometimes those hiring decisions move faster than the full recruiting process. We appreciate all candidates who are interested in opportunities at the company and are committed to continually improving in that area. Thank you for the input.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at L2TMedia (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025

      Interview

I initially applied for the Digital Media Associate role. I didn’t hear back until about a month later, when the company reached out to interview me for a different role, as the original position had been filled. I agreed and went through three rounds: 1. A phone screening; 2. A video interview with a manager; 3. A video interview with an associate director. All interviewers were professional and friendly, and I had a positive experience during each conversation. After the interviews, I didn’t hear back for another month, so I followed up post-holidays. I was informed that they had selected another candidate. I expressed interest in a third role they had open at the time. The recruiter let me know they will forward my resume to the team, but after that, I did not receive any updates. The interviewers themselves were great, but the overall communication and follow-up from the company were inconsistent. I’m still unclear about what happened in the hiring process.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at L2TMedia (New York, NY)

      Interview

I applied online and was promptly called 10 minutes after I applied by HR to set up a phone interview with them a couple days after. The phone interview was pretty standard, walking through my resume and talking about my interest in their company and digital advertising. I was emailed the week after my phone interview wanting to set up an in person interview for the following Monday at their Evanston office. After traveling to the Evanston area the day before for this interview. My interview was scheduled for late morning, and around 8 a.m. I receive a call saying their hiring manager is sick and they'll have to reschedule the interview. I hear nothing from them for a week, so I send them an email checking in to see about a new interview date. HR told me that the team was discussing their strategy and moving forward with my candidacy and they would get back to me. A few days after this email I recieve another that says they're not looking to hire for this position at this time. So if you're looking to waste your time with an interview I'd recommend this company. They handled themselves very unprofessionally and led me on for several weeks with this employment opportunity. In the future if they're not looking to hire for a job they shouldn't post it on their own website and other job boards, and definitely don't call somebody in for an interview and cancel the morning of. If this is how they treat perspective employees I can't imagine how they treat you once you get hired.

We appreciate the feedback regarding your interview and are disappointed to hear it was not a good experience for you. L2TMedia is headquartered in Evanston, IL and we mainly consider locally-based candidates with a reasonable commute to our office for most positions, but occasionally meet with talent outside the Chicago market for more senior-level roles. When we are aware of a candidate who’s traveling from a great distance, we strive to make accommodations for any necessary last-minute interview change-ups versus canceling altogether. We greatly value all candidates and apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced due to miscommunication about the opportunity.
