When I arrived the current associate working didn't even acknowledge me, she was helping a customer and would not look at me to tell me that she would let the manager know I was there. I waited in the store until the manager came out on her own. She greeted me and said to follow her and that we would be outside. She seemed friendly at first, but my availability is what really made the interview take a different turn. This was a part time position and it seemed like they only want you to have that job for their random scheduled hours. (I already have a first job) The whole experience seemed a little strange. At the end, she gave me some samples to take home and try.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at L'Occitane in Feb 2012
Interview
I filled out my application out at another store and got a call back the next day to be interviewed at a different location and was ask to come in that week if possible for a one on one interview. I came in and was interviewed by the Store Manager and District Manager. The whole interview process was not very stressful, they were very welcoming and nice. They asked me what did I know about L'Occitane and why did I choose to apply here. Ask general questions about life, and future goals, name a stressful event that has happened and you took control of it. I got a call the next day and was offered the position. Very friendly and fun work environment but they can be very pushy about certain products that they must sell a certain amount weekly.

Interview
I came in for an application and was interviewed on the spot. I felt like some of my answers were ignored and the manager was more interested in hiring me than what I had to say. After there was a Skype interview with the DM. At this point I forums the DM to be very condescending and considered not accepting the position after my encounter with her. The interview was very unprofessional and disrespectful on the DMs part.
