      Photographer/Videographer Interview

      10 Dec 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kyle Bunting (Austin, TX) in Aug 2023

      Interview

Some digital interviews, then a last minute call in. Seemed like a dream job at first, so I'm willing to drive about 5 hours into town to do an in-person interview. I come in, tour for about 15 minutes with the boss's assistant, then am sat down and told I would be "eaten alive" by her boss. The lady I talked with said my "vibe wasn't what she was looking for" despite my being professional and receptive the entire time. Waste of my time, and glad I dodged a bullet if she was too afraid to even let me meet her boss. Huge red flags I noticed were an extremely disorganized workplace and a grind culture with little reward
