After submitting an online application for the position through the company's recruitment site at the end if July 2020, I was called for an in-person interview in the first week of September 2020. The interview panel was made of the HR Manager for the company and the manager this role would be providing assistance to. The entire interview lasted between 45 mins and 1 hour.
I was asked to introduce myself, to explain my motivation for working for this company, expected salary range, typing skills. It was pointed out that, in addition to a wide range of administrative and secretarial tasks and responsibilities, the administrative assistant would be expected to serve coffee to the board members and guests. Sadly, this is typical of Croatian employers. In mid-October I was informed the company will not be moving on with my application since other other candidates more closely matched their requirements.
