As someone who would usually /ask/ the questions to all our new hires the interview process went pretty typically. I would initiate conversation by first introducing ourselves and having them do the same then go on to ask
"So tell me about yourself."
Usually a person would go to tell me about previous work or even tell me small tidbits about their home life. Which is great because it is things like that interviewers like myself love to here! We love getting you to talk to us and feeling comfortable.
After basic discussion was finished I would ask "so What Kind of position are you looking for" etcetc and what hours are you willing to work and if everything seems flexible and worthwhile then I would Offer the person a job and we would on from there.
Most of the time that lead into explaining Unions, paperwork, and then going to do a drug test. (Don't worry we don't make you pee in a cup) We just take a small mouth swab test in house that day.
