Interview
I had two interviews with Kraus. The first was over the phone and I thought it went pretty well. I was asked to come in for a second interview which gave me the (false) indication that they were interested in me. The interview lasted about 20 minutes and again, I thought it went well. I was told that I would hear back from them in the new year which wasn’t for another month. I have sent two follow up messages. Never heard a word. Frankly, I found this to be a little strange and unprofessional coming from a communications based company.

Interview
Met with Nick and the team at the office, (interviewed by 3 people) then with the client they were hiring for. Went in at 7:30am to accommodate their schedule. I was interviewed by 3 people initially then fielded questions from 3 other people that came in the room. Both interviews went well, Nick specifically mentioned that point after meeting with the client.
No offer, which isn't an issue, you don't get every spot you apply for, however there was no follow-up. I found the lack of follow-up even after I'd reached out to Justine (office manager) to be unprofessional.

Interview
I scheduled an interview two weeks out with Nick Kraus. His team was insistent on a particular day to accommodate Nick’s schedule (after I expressed it was the least convenient day for myself). I moved my schedule around to accommodate his and showed up on time.
I was immediately informed Nick wasn’t going to be there as he was traveling for business (After being told explicitly that he would be there for the interview). I ended up interviewing with Bohdana instead. This wouldn’t have been an issue except I moved my schedule to accommodate Nick’s, and without warning he never appeared.
To be honest the interview didn’t go very far from there, I lost interest in the position once finding out the company’s communication techniques were lacking. As a first experience with a company, this was far from ideal. They clearly do not value other people’s time.
Through my time in the office it was obvious they had little experience with business development, the structure was poorly set up and priorities were not put on employee retention. There is a reason small companies stay small.
