Multiple rounds of interviews. All remote. The interviews were with two kraken people each time, taking about 60 minutes. Everybody I spoke to was respectful and friendly. The internal recruiter guiding the process was located in Europe, and the people I spoke to were all remote. Some in the US, some in Europe.

You sign NDA and then they give you a small coding challenge. They claim it takes 2-3 hours, but really you won't have anything you're not embarrassed to submit. 1-2 days is more realistic.
