After talking to the TAM, I was scheduled to have a zoom meeting with the hiring manager. On the day of interview, I was prepared and looking forward to the interview. The hiring manager arrived the meeting late, with no apology and explanation - that was ok to me. Then she started asking me questions about my background, completed projects, preferred work environment, and etc. Since I was well prepared, I was able to answer her questions fluently, offering to provide more details should she prefer. However, I had a very strange feeling 3 or 4 minutes after the interview: the hiring manager was not involved at all (or perhaps she was not interested in me). I noticed she was looking at both sides of the computer screen, scratching her hair, drinking water, etc. I also noticed that she was not taking notes (perhaps Kraft does not require this). After I answered each of her questions, she commented something like "thank you for sharing such a wondering experience". There was no further probing questions. So, for all her 4/5 interview questions, it took less than 15 minutes. Next, she asked whether I had any questions, so I asked several position-related questions. She answered all my questions in one sentence. Three days later upon my follow-up email, I received a rejection email in less than 1 hour. To be honest, I was very shocked about my interview experience with Kraft. Thinking in retrospect, perhaps they the hiring manager already had someone in her mind, so interviewing me was simply a formality.
