Very easy interview process involving potentially two conversations, one with a store manager and another with the district manager allowing both to get a feel of what you are looking for in a management role.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Huntington Beach, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
A campus representative came to my school and was very approachable and friendly. I sent them my resume via email and they referred it to HR. I was contacted by HR and we had a phone interview. I was then sent an email inviting me to an in-person interview. The interview was around 5 hours long as there were other candidates as well. Part of it consisted of a group and then I had two one-on-one interviews. Everyone I met from the company was very laid back and friendly. I felt very comfortable with the interviewers. You could tell they really felt at home working for Kohl's.
