There were only three rounds. First a recruiter reached out. He went over the role, expectations, salary, and locations. Next I spoke to Manager of Engineering, and it was mostly standard fit and behavioral. Last was the 4-person panel. This one was more technical. These were usually a 30-min interview 1:1 but scheduled on the same day. I met with a director, senior director, product, and two backend engineers. The questions and problems were very fitting to the role and gave great insight into the team.
I’m sad I didn’t get the role. I was really looking forward to working with the company.
