I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Kneat Solutions in Apr 2026
Interview
Had an interview here which i got through an external recruiter, passed through tech screening with a team lead and HR. Did the technical interview as well. However, completely ghosted by the recruiter afterwards. Recently saw a news that it got acquired by a PE firm. dodged a bullet there, phew!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kneat Solutions in Jul 2025
Interview
Initially contacted by a recruiter about an opening with the company led to an initial video call with an engineering manager and team lead. Video call lasted about an hour, covering prior experience and some basic technical questions.
A second round video call with a member of HR and another team lead occurred 2 weeks later. The member of HR asked some basic behavioral questions. When asked to discuss the roadmap for their main product the team lead took over the conversation which quickly devolved into wild ramblings of a wide range of subjects including the eminent arrival of an AI singularity and China's development of thorium molten salt reactors.
I did not receive any kind of correspondence from neither the company nor the recruitment agency after the conclusion of the second video call.

Question 1
Who is the smartest person alive? How would you find this person?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kneat Solutions (Limerick, Limerick) in Mar 2018
Interview
A straight forward, intelligent interview designed to understand skill level, not to catch out someone who was missing some minor details. Not the easiest but felt fair.
Programming test was especially good. Simple idea that didn't take too much time but showed off a lot of knowledge if you had it.
