I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kmart (Randolph, NJ)
Interview
Literally it was the fastest process ever. I applied online then within like a week they called me and asked to come in a few days later in the morning. I did so and had a talk with the store manager. He was really nice and asked a few basic questions like "describe yourself, where do you go to school, whats your availability". Nothing hard at all. He talked about himself for most of the interview believe it or not. I barely said anything. He explained the routine of a cashier and then asked if i had any questions for him. It was like a 10 minute process with him talking for 8 minutes of it. It was chill and no problems were had.

Question 1
As with any interview I always think the "describe yourself" question was the hardest. Cause you never know what they really wanna hear.

Interview
Drug Test, lot's of questions about what kinds of experiences you had that would help you in the role if you've never worked as a cashier or have a non existent resume
It was mostly online, and about an hour long. You have to fill out a lot of questions about how you feel about topics (mostly pertaining to work ethic and integrity) along a spectrum. Then you do a video-game like interview where you pretend to interact with customers. Finally, you interview in person.

I waited at customer service and told them I had a interview. I went in a room with a lady and asked my capabilities. Told me the requirements for the job and gave me my paper work to get hired.
