I applied organically on Klaviyo's career section and then was referred to a specific role by a current employee. Within a week, I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager. From there, I was given a take-home assignment which took me an entire weekend to complete, following a write-up on how we can make improvements and what my challenges were. Following that (another week), I interviewed with five Klaviyos who I would be directly working with...they all loved me. Following another week, I interviewed (on Black Friday) with Senior Leadership...they loved me. Following that, I interviewed with the CEO, who was an active listener and asked thoughtful questions. I really had an exceptional interviewing experience overall, but then all of a sudden they decided to completely dissolve the role entirely...very unprofessional and a huge time suck. This role should have been fully vetted and approved before going live, there should've been no surprises. Highly disappointed, because it seemed like a great company.
