      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Klarna (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2021

      Interview

The interview process was quite long (a total of 5 interviews). Very poor communication or clarity about the timeline and what the next steps were. After 5 interviews that went well, they basically told me I had the job, but they had to wait until next week (unclear explanation). One week turned into two, then into 4 months. I followed up a few times and unfortunately wasn't given a clear response. Completely wasted my time.

      Partner Marketing Manager Interview

      9 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Klarna (New York, NY) in Jul 2021

      Interview

Positive at first and then ended on such a sour, unprofessional note. I was outbounded on LinkedIn by a recruiter. I had a phone screen that went really positively where we discussed next steps and then I was completely ghosted by the recruiter with no follow up or response to my inquiries. I was later told by a former co-worker that I didn't have the years of experience the role required (which was not mentioned on the phone screen).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Standard phone screen where they asked what I was looking for in my next role, described the company and position and got to know my experience.
