I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Klarna (Amsterdam) in Dec 2019
Interview
Had four interviews. First one with the external recruiter, the recruiter told me first to finish some assessments.. This is normal practice. Never received feedback, but Apparently the assessments were sufficient as an interview was scheduled with the internal recruiter. This person scheduled two more interviews with the commercial directors.
After having my last interview I did not hear back from Klarna for >month. Reached out to the internal recruiter. This individual forwarded my request for feedback directly to the external recruiter. I only received one line of useless feedback.
Spend >4 hours in exchange for only one line of useless feedback from an external recruiter. It came across as disrespectful and not in line with Klarna’s values.
They are all very nice people. During the communication process, you should fully demonstrate your control over the customer and understand the stakeholders. You should be a consultant, not a salesperson.
The first stage was a telephone screening call with a recruiter, followed by a commercial pitch task, an interview with the team lead. A team fit interview with a peer and finally a logic test.

Interview
This was the worst interview process I have ever experienced. 4 interviews, a test, and a presentation in, the interviewer talked about the next person I would meet in the 5th round during the interviewt, so I was very sure I'd be progressing. Then they went complete cold for over a week. When I finally got some contact from them I was told I didn't get the job, the only explaination given was they didn't think I could work in a fast-pased environment, despite the fact all of my previous experience was in large-scale FMCG buinesses delivering growth. It seemed like they were treading carefully in what they were saying and I have suspiscions it had something to do with my enquiry regarding flexibility to support family life.
