      Customer Advisor Interview

      20 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bury, North West England, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Kingfisher (Bury, North West England, England) in Feb 2019

      Interview

After being invited for assessment. I was in a room with around 3 managers and 11 candidates, I felt the whole thing cringe worthy, they wanted you to perform like monkeys, this is exactly how I was made to feel, rather than looking at your actual personality and potential. I understand the logic behind selling something to them and team exercise etc. I was made to feel uncomfortable at b&q. All in all, I wish I never bothered, I felt I could not wait to get out of there and was a complete waste of my morning, not the kind of thing I ever want to experience again. This was at the Bury branch. I feel the Management here need training, to at least make candidates feel at ease and have a laugh along the way. It was more like an us and them feeling. This is just my personal opinion. There were more interested if I could drive, that's when alarm bells went off. No I do not want to get up in the middle of the night for £8 an hour. There is a limit! If I did get offered a position, I was going to decline. That's how bad it was, I would never recommend to work here to any of my family and friends.
