I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at KinderCare Learning Centers (Indianapolis, IN) in Jan 2016
Interview
Everyone was super friendly - it felt informal in a good way. I was greeted by the director and taken to the office to be interviewed by her and her assistant. All of the questions were fairly basic for the kind of work - how do you manage a classroom, how do you communicate with parents, why are you interested, etc. I was able to be 100% completely myself, pulling in how hobbies and academic interests were relevant to the job, and this was entirely embraced. Was told they "had a really good feeling about me" and overall it felt very welcoming.

Question 1
How would you communicate with a parent about their child?
The assistant interview was very straight forward. got back to me in a reasonable time frame. Overall the interview lasted less than an hour and they gave me a tour of the building the same day.
Interview was very easy. Got a response back within days. Initial interview by a hiring manager then interview with center director, got hired the same day. Took about two weeks.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at KinderCare Learning Centers (Bristow, VA)
