I was introduced by a Japanese recruiter from UK. As I was not living in Belgium but in France, the first interview was on skype with the IT manager. First of all, I was aked to introduce myself and my background. Then the interviewer asked several questions on my previous experiences. He looked at my resume the whole time instead of the webcam which was awkward. He also asked most of the questions in Japanese since I was able to speak Japanese fluently and also because it seemed to be more convenient for him as it is his native language. I didn't really appreciate having to answer all questions in Japanese while the position was not requiring fluent Japanese. The interview was quite short as he was concerned about the various experiences I had (i.e. he didn't seem to like I didn't stay in the same job forever). The position ends up being something very different from what I have imagined. Also the recruiter who introduced it to me didn't even have any details about the tasks either. I wasn't sure why I was introduced to such a job and the company decided to continue with another applicant as they didn't like I had too many different experiences. Which is good for me.
