Typical stuff with a recruiter - they asked about my experience, willingness to relocate, advised on taxes, salary level, etc. Second round was more focused on how I can apply my experience as a buyer to this role. I was given a task to amend a dummy contract and complete a personality test. Third round was conducted in the office. The company flew me to Belgium. We went (yet again) through my resume - back and forth. I was told that there was one comment on the dummy contract that doesn’t make sense. I clarified my take on the comment and they were happy with my response. I had no questions for this stage (as I was tired - I had to wake up at 3 AM to get to the airport and the interview was at 1 PM). I also had a chance to ask about everything already. They asked my about stressful situations at work, working with deadlines, etc. The adv mentioned paid overtime so I expect there’s more than plenty to do, and people could be overworked. At the end I was told that they are not happy with the interview, because I said a negative thing about my previous employer (reason why I left), I didn’t ask questions, and in general they were not happy with the dummy contract - contradictory to what they told me while I was on-site. All in all, seems like a lack of transparency on their end.
