Keyence Came to our college for recruitment (2019).
Although it was a 5 stage interview process, it just took only 1 day and offer letters were given by 4 pm. They come with a panel of 12 interviewers among which 6 were japanese. the process was as follows:
1. Online aptitude test.
general aptitude, verbal. most questions from indiabix.
2. One minute interview.
Only a minute, they ask introduce yourself, what qualities a sales person must have, and why sales.
they also see how you shake hands and greet.
3. Group Discussion.
10 minutes, 10 people at a time.
topics like, Trumph rule good or bad, cats or dogs, samsung or iphone, and other flipside topics.
4. pre-final interview.
here they ask you to sell random things. I was told to sell a water bottle.
then they ask you some random questions like why the people in your area like to go hiking, what is the situation of the hostel food, etc. Just to check the communication skills.
5. Final Interview.
Here I was told to act a role play, I was made to sell a Mercedes car to the interviewer who owned a very cheap car. we even went on a test drive :-).
Then some basic technical questions from my field (precise answers not necessary).
Some questions about family background, what fascinates you about sales, about relocation, etc.
if you managed to put some creative points about what skills does a salesperson need, about how to understand the client, then you will make it.
Believe me you wont find any Interviewers this much cooperative, they listen to what you say, well mannered than you can imagine, they stand and wish you with a handshake every time, and most importantly they are very punctual of time. we had our offer letters in our hand.
