I applied online. I interviewed at Kevala in Mar 2024
Interview
They had me live code leet code questions, both sql and python. They also asked behavioral and general technical questions. They asked some system design related questions as well. And they also asked me about items which are on my resume.

Question 1
Can you tell me about a time that you failed to deliver on a project or deadline?
The process began with a phone interview. After the phone interview, the second round interview was a technical assessment via a data science assignment. I didn’t proceed past the second round, so I can’t speak to anything further
First I got a call from the recruiter then moved onto a coding challenge. The person testing me had 10 months experience, so he's probably fresh in algorithms - I get it. I have few more years (6) experience in building applications, but they sent a fresh person to interview me, and have me talk about my background and skillsets. I'm fairly certain more than half of the things I said fell into the "what is that and how does that work" inner voice questions. So effectively, I was just judged based on algorithms. Perfect way to evaluate a developer's skill set, of course. I think this was a complete waste of time. I wouldn't recommend anyone applying if they keep up with this interview strategy.
