      Interview

Online assessments were as expected with some SJT and mathematics. After a long wait, they reached out at short notice, just 2 days before assessment centre. The assessment centre was challenging as expected but was based on a fictional tech company which did not mirror the actual company. The technical interview was heavily Civil/Structural biased with calculations of trusses. This definitely favoured Civil/Structural engineers and left Mechanical graduates disadvantaged. The questions were also a lot with very short time. Overall, the assessment centre was poorly done.

      Question 1

How can you protect a structure from seismic waves? There was a diagram of a tank supported by legs. What is fatigue? Calculate reactions and moments on a beam.
