      Adjunct Faculty Interview

      12 Nov 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Keiser University

      Interview

I applied for an adjunct position and ended up being hired full-time, which is great. For most of us in academia, it is hard to get a stable salary and recognition. The interview went very well and so did the mock teach. It took over a month, however, to hear back about my credentials to teach in my discipline. The salary was the hardest part because I couldn't get any answers about range or anything, so I incidentally valued myself too low based on my history and the salary averages that I found online.
