During the first interview, I was given an overview of the interview process. The first two interviews went well, but by the time I reached the final interview I was completely blindsided. I had been told that the final stage would be a culture fit conversation. Instead, it turned out to be an extension of the technical interview. I had not prepared for, or expected, this change.
The interviewer said, âYou did really well in the previous interview, but I need to see it for myself.â This raised an immediate concern. It made me question whether the team trusted one another and why the process had not been aligned internally.
As someone who later accepted an offer at Keen and was terminated only three months later, this became the first of several clear red flags about the companyâs organization, communication, and overall consistency.
