I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kaplan in Sept 2015
Interview
I was referred to the job by a friend. When I reached out to the hiring manager I was immediately contacted back by a different recruiting manager. I thought "great this interview will be quick!" We conversed for the first week of September and I was informed that I would be asked to complete an interview but then that same day I was sent a message that positions were already filled. So that bothered me that there were mixed messages. I let that irk pass however because I heard Kaplan is a great place to work at. They informed me that because of the delay if I'm still interested they will ask me to complete an interview the next month. A month passed and I had an interview on the phone passed that and had one last interview face to face. I gave them all I could and asked everything I wanted to know . I believe I wouldn't have such a negative outlook towards the Kaplan hiring managers if the time was managed better, more information about what they were looking for in employees were provided and they asked me more questions on my profession instead of minor questions like what I do on my free time and what I like to do for fun. Sucks. But I still think Kaplan in all would be a great company to work for. They missed out on someone willing to invest years into this job position with educational qualifications.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kaplan (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2018
Interview
A phone call from recruiting to schedule an interview, followed by an in-person interview with a manager at the office. I sat down with 1 manager who reviewed my resume and asked couple basic questions and provided information about the company and what they do.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kaplan (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Online assessment, video interview this had essays, mcq, scenarios, must have ability to pitch yourself via video, be as engaging as possible. interviewed by 2 persons, fairly relaxed style. Being a team player and willingness to be involved is a plus and the questions were slanted to reflect this. Also a willingness to cross train is critical.
