I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kainos Home and Training Center (Redwood City, CA) in Mar 2010
Interview
I was referred by a good friend of mine who worked there. She really loved it, but decided to leave to go get her master's degree in social work. I interviewed at 3 different locations and the directors of each program decided where I would fit in the best and where they could use me.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kainos Home and Training Center (Redwood City, CA)
Interview
Maybe one of the least formal interviewing processes you'll ever go to. They usually invite you in for a chat and often have you meet the clients then and there or invite you to meet them at a later date. I had two supervisors while there and they both did it a little different. They do seem to want to see how comfortable you're going to be working with the clients and if they like you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic experience questions. But have no fear if you have little no experience. It will help of course but they really want to get a feel for the type of person you are.
