I applied online. I interviewed at KMT Waterjet Systems (Baxter Springs, KS) in Feb 2020
Interview
The Interview process is pretty standard. Send in resume, wait for a call, first interview is a phone screen, then they fly you in for a face to face. Received the offer a few days later. Negotiated the offer but they refused to put it in writing. Was later told the person that I negotiated with didn't tell HR so I was not given the things I negotiated for (My fault).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most were pretty standard Service Questions. Such as what experience did I have with inside sales team/outbound calling/ dialing for dollars.
I applied in-person. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at KMT Waterjet Systems (Baxter Springs, KS) in Jan 2012
Interview
Submitted my resume and had an interview with the former shop foreman. Never heard back from him for months. Months later he emails me and asks whether I'm interested in working for KMT. I said I was interested in talking to him about it. Silence again for several months. Out of the blue while driving home from work, I got a conference call from a team of people interested in hiring me. The shop foreman I had interviewed with before was no longer there. The "team" who called me, found my resume in a stack of papers. I had an interview with them while driving home. A formal interview with the HR head (fired by the current owners) happened within the next week. I accepted the terms and began my twisted journey with KMT.
