A standard interview process which had a face to face and then a machine test. Process can't be any better to identify a developer who would be suitable for the role and assess their capabilities in real time environment.

First round is aptitude
second round Group discussion
Third round Technical F2F round
Hr round
Aptitude contains general aptitude only. In technical round they asks about basic java principles like polymorphism, abstraction, inheritance etc...
May be they will ask you to write some sample programs like generating the Fibonacci series, How to check a number is a prime or not. In HR round he just asked me the basic details like Introduce yourself and education details.
