The first two calls I had with different employees at the company made this position seem promising. They even gave me an active project they were working on and that they wanted me to do a pre screen and share my notes. However, when it came time to meet with owner, that’s when things took a turn for the worst. The interview was nothing but BS questions and sizing me up on my personal background and education. No questions about my skills, the notes I took on the project, nothing. Then they make you do the typing test which is weird since I’m not applying to work at a call center and I have to listen to customers on the phone all day. My advice to the owner: if you’re seeking someone who can fulfill your ridiculous expectations and have an ivy-league background like yourself, move to the northeast or better yet retire.
