During the in-person interview, I was cut off and asked to return 30-45 minutes later due to a scheduling conflict. I learned the interviewer was recently hired, new to the organization, and their decision-making abilities were up for debate.
The process was extremely lengthy and unorganized, involving multiple virtual stages with the Practice Development Manager, Chief of Staff, and Business Owner/Doctor, followed by an attempted in-person meeting with another Director.
Poor communication from HR led to a failed in-person meeting. Note, if they say the office is “closed” and the doctor “will meet you in the lobby,” they have a PRIVATE LOBBY in their suite. Make sure to clarify, or the physician will leave without contacting you.
Despite a heightened sense of urgency initially, the organization failed to respond for several weeks. The interview process lacks structure, the staff lacks forward vision, and the organization is rated 3.0 on Glassdoor.
