I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Just One (New York, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
The whole process went by very quick, they had only requested one in person interview before hiring. I had my recruiter approach me about the job and submitted my work and portfolio. When I was speaking to them on person, they were desperate enough to hire me on the job. That was the first red flag, and when I followed up with asking about meeting my pay requirement they said "no". Even after saying it was achievable to my recruiter, I come in person just to find out they would pay way below industry standards. If I had food in my mouth I would've spat it out. A desperate joke of a company, and glad I walked away to dodged a bullet.

Question 1
Hardly asked any questions because they do not understand the design process. If anything I spoke the majority of the time and carried the conversation, maybe I was asked "how do I design".
