Had to do a case study on time series analysis and present it during the technical round. However, in the end the rejection was just an automatic email, like you send to the applications that are rejected even before the interview. Sending automatic replies to 100s of people applying makes sense, but sending the same kind of rejection email to someone who has attended two rounds of interview is just inconsiderate.
