      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jungle Scout (Vancouver, BC)

      Interview

1 video call with HR manager, 1 video call with Sr Designer, 1 test project and its follow up. No in-person or phone calls were needed. I did not get a final response so I had to reach back to them myself.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jungle Scout (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2018

      Interview

The interview process for this role was four rounds and the interviews were all conducted via zoom. First, there is a 20 minute call with the People Operations Manager. This was followed a couple days later with a 30 minute call with the Head of Design to discuss background, philosophy & approach to design and a brief walk-through (not a formal presentation) of a portfolio project. The third round included a take-home design challenge which you have an unlimited amount of time to complete. Once submitted, you present your solution and the thought process and research that informed your decisions with the Head of Design in an hour-long "design review" call. The final round was a call with the CEO to discuss background and cultural fit. Everyone involved was really amicable and the team definitely takes the time to answer your questions and discuss the company's culture and mission as well. All in all, solid process.
