Emailed me for my book then dropped off for over a month with no response. Then reached out to ask about an interview. Met for a virtual interview then given a mock project to complete. Presented mock project in person and interviewed with two owners. I felt like they didn't want to hear about my experience or how I could benefit them, mostly told that the person they hire needs to be able to handle critiques of their work and be able to handle feedback.
They made a lot of assumptions about me and my experience and didn't care to hear .ore from me about how my skills would be a great fit for their company or the role. At the end of my 2 hour interview, I was given another brief on an actual in process campaign and asked to work on it. Stating I'd be paid this time. I wasn't sure if I was being hired as a freelancer or for the job, it was confusing. Later that day, I got a quick email from the owner saying they gave that project to another "freelancer" and they'd be in touch. Felt like a confusing email and I didn't know how or where I land in the job interview process. Doesn't sound very promising.
