I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jubilant HollisterStier in Oct 2024
Interview
Was reached out to by HR person, had to answer four questions through email "Please share a few sentences detailing how your experience aligns with this role.", salary, citizenship status, and if I am actively interviewing with other companies. I was asked to schedule a time to meet a hiring manager and send two work samples.
I meet with the hiring manager who told me they only been there for 7-8 weeks. They only asked me 2 questions, which were relevant to the role but not major parts of the role. It seemed this person didn't know what they were doing. They didn't say anything about the work samples, overall felt like a waste of time. The interviewer also mentioned how we made early time, yeah that is what happens when you ask two questions. I asked more questions than the interviewer.
I was asked about my background, SEO campaigns, and if i had worked on display ads. Nothing about search ads, email marketing, content creation, etc. This is what I thought would be asked about more but only 2-3 questions.

Interview
The process was long but good. I applied for something else and the HR person actually targeted me into a better fit role. I have never seen this before so I was gladly surprised
The interview process was quick and fairly painless. The interviews were concise. Seemed to be some difference in opinions between the hiring manager and HR but overall a good interview process.
