Question 1
How many hours have you worked with the special needs population?
The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Journeys DDA
Interview
Although my correspondence with the company was very nice, it just proved to be a bit chaotic. My first interview was a Teams meeting, taking a bit of extra effort to prepare for, however I received a call. My second interview was on a Monday. I received an invite for a 9am interview, which I accepted. Moments after the acceptance I received an updated invite for 1pm instead. I accepted this interview. Monday I received a missed interview email at 9:57 am. I figured someone didn’t cancel the 9am interview once I received the updated 1pm request. Unfortunately, 1pm came and went without a call. I eventually declined the second interview as my time is valuable and this experience didn’t meet my standards. Again, it seems like a great organization, and all of my correspondence was genuine.

Question 1
Do you have experience with individuals with development disabilities?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Journeys DDA (Idaho Falls, ID) in Jul 2022
Interview
You will talk with an HR representative and they will decide if you meet the qualifications to have a second interview with the director of the programs. The interview with the director was very relaxed and more of a get to know you to see if you will be a good fit for the clients.
