I was called in for a face-to-face interview with the store manager. She was rude and condescending to me, criticized my responses, etc. Still called me back for a follow-up interview with the head of retail at their corporate office. She was also rude and condescending and only spoke to me for a few minutes before ending the interview. They never followed up even though I took the time to go to two in-person interviews for a retail job.
Ultimately, I think they wanted someone more committed long-term to the role, but I think for a minimum wage job, part-time, without commission, and with the kinds of demands apparently placed on their employees, that is extremely unrealistic.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Journelle (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
I was contacted through email a couple of days after applying to their opening at Indeed, setting a time for a phone interview. The interview was brief (about 10 mins) ,the questions were easy enough but unfortunately I was not what they were looking for.
