Started with an online application which involved a few questions and personal information as well as sending my CV and Cover Letter.
Then had to do some online assessments which involved a numerical reasoning test with fairly simple maths questions involving data from tables. It was timed and was difficult to get everything done within the time limits.
I then received an email saying I had passed and needed to do a video interview. The video interview was fairly simple involving about 10 questions about the role and why J&J as well as about the company credo and my previous experience.
I then received an invitation to attend an assessment centre in their office in Leeds, telling me I had to prepare a presentation about my greatest achievements. The day was relaxed and the people made me feel welcome. There was 6 of us to start off with, we were given a brief presentation from current placement students and other employees. Then 3 people went for a tour while the other 3 waited for individual interviews. My interview was with a current placement student and a manager. They made me feel really relaxed and were friendly, the questions were not too difficult. There were general competency based questions and then specific questions about my CV. After the interview, I had the tour and then had to go do my presentation which was in front of a different manager and placement student. This was fairly relaxed too, I was super nervous put the people were chatty. I did my presentation and there was a brief Q&A. We then had lunch and another 5 fellow candidates join us for their afternoon session, we all had to do a group activity together which was easy but was very pressured as there was about 10 people watching us, making notes.
